Lotte Walda is a Dutch singer and songwriter who performs with a full band of twelve musicians, creating an intimate, warm sound rooted in real acoustic instrumentation. Her catalogue spans several albums, including Sunflower, Dragonfly, and Dandelion, the last of which centres on themes of freedom, trust and finding your way back to yourself. The release of Dandelion was delayed by the sudden death of Angelo Bombrini, her producer and closest friend, and his influence runs through the music in a way that gives it particular weight and meaning. Live, her shows blend songs from across her albums and carry a sense of genuine connection between performer and audience.
