Magazines are a three piece post punk outfit from Antwerp, Belgium, and they play like they have nothing to lose. Their sound is raw, high energy, and uncompromising, drawing on the youthful escapism once found in records, comics, and magazines, the kind of feeling where anything seemed possible. They write, record, and do everything themselves, and that DIY attitude bleeds into every track. Live, the band has built a serious reputation. They have played Suikerrock, Zwarte Cross, a sold out Paradiso, and toured the UK and Asia. They have also racked up number one spots on the Dutch Indie Chart more than once, and their tracks get heavy rotation on KINK, the major rock and alternative station in the Netherlands.
