About
Also known as: KEYGEN CHURCH
Somewhere between a vintage computer booting up and a full metal assault, Master Boot Record carves out a genuinely strange and compelling niche. The project belongs to Italian artist Vittorio D'Amore, whose obsession with old computer hardware and chiptune aesthetics runs through every release. Heavy metal riffs collide with electronic beats and the bleeping, glitching sounds of retro machines, producing something that defies easy genre labels. Albums like Hardwarez show how far D'Amore pushes that formula, and live the project translates into a full visual and sonic experience. Past touring partners have included Carpenter Brut and Igorrr, which gives a fair sense of the crowd this music draws.
