About
Mau P burst onto the scene in 2022 with his debut single "Drugs from Amsterdam", released on Repopulate Mars, which shot straight to number 1 on Beatport's main chart and landed on Billboard's list of the Best 50 Dance Tracks of that year. The Amsterdam DJ and producer, formerly known as Maurice West, quickly established himself in the tech house and house world with a knack for tracks that get serious play on big stages. His collab with Kevin de Vries, "Metro", became one of the most played tracks at Tomorrowland in 2023 and earned another Billboard nod. Along the way he picked up remixes for the likes of Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia, plus the SLAM! Global Breakthrough Award at Amsterdam Dance Event 2023. By 2025 he had climbed to number 77 in the DJ Mag Top 100, a sharp jump from his debut entry at 91 just a year earlier.
