About
Also known as: DJ Mental Theo, DJ Mental Theo's Bazzheadz
Decades into his career, Mental Theo remains one of the most recognisable figures in Dutch dance music. Rooted in the harder end of the spectrum, he moves across happy hardcore, gabber, hardstyle and frenchcore, bringing a high energy style that has kept him a constant presence on rave stages, at festivals and in clubs across the Netherlands and beyond. He has a reputation for knowing exactly how to work a crowd, turning venues into something close to a collective frenzy through a mix of iconic classics and harder contemporary tracks. Originally from 's Hertogenbosch, he has spent years building a catalogue of anthems that Dutch rave audiences know by heart. Whether he is playing a small club or a main stage, his infectious enthusiasm tends to be the thing people talk about afterwards.
