About
MICHA is a Dutch singer songwriter whose sound sits somewhere between pop, alternative and classic singer songwriter territory. He launched his solo project in 2023, travelling to Nashville to record his debut EP Dead End Of A Dream, and has since released his first full album Liar. His voice is the thing people keep coming back to: raw, expressive, the kind that can carry a song without much else around it, though he makes a strong case on guitar too. Artists like John Mayer and Dermot Kennedy are among his touchstones. Since going solo he has moved quickly. Two sold out tours, a pair of Topsong awards on NPO Radio 2 and the 3FM Talent title all came in a short stretch. He also appeared on the TV talent show The Headliner, and has played festival stages across the Netherlands. Venue Hedon backed him early through its Hedon Talent Support programme, and he sold out a show there not long after.
