Moving Pictures - A Tribute To Rush

About

Moving Pictures is a tribute act dedicated to the music of Rush, the legendary Canadian prog rock band. The trio consists of Eóin de Paor on vocals, bass, keys and occasional violin, Jamie Dunleavey on drums, and Steve Brown on guitar. Their approach goes well beyond note for note accuracy: de Paor takes on the famously demanding combined role of Geddy Lee, juggling bass, lead vocals and keyboards simultaneously, and the band digs deep into the Rush catalogue rather than sticking to the obvious hits. Over 200 shows across the UK, Europe, Brazil and Canada have built their reputation, including a performance for Neil Peart's family at Lakeside Park and a slot at RUSHfest Canada in the iconic Massey Hall. They are regulars at fan conventions and larger stages, covering both well known classics and deeper cuts from the Rush catalogue.
