About
Nevermore carved out a serious reputation in the progressive and thrash metal world over the course of their career, with records like Dead Heart in a Dead World and This Godless Endeavor standing as fan favourites. The band got its start in 1995 and built a following through dense, heavy riffing and a sound that pulls from thrash, groove and power metal in roughly equal measure. With Jeff Loomis handling guitar duties and Van Williams on drums, the group brought together real firepower, and their albums hold up as some of the more ambitious releases in the genre.
