Nina Nesbitt has a knack for turning personal moments into songs that stick. The Edinburgh raised Scottish singer and songwriter first broke through with the UK and Scottish top 40 hits "Stay Out" and "Selfies", and her cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop" reached an even wider audience when it soundtracked a John Lewis ad. Her 2014 debut album Peroxide went straight to number 1 in Scotland, and she has kept that momentum going ever since. Her third album Älskar arrived in 2022, and in 2024 she launched her own imprint Apple Tree Records to put out Mountain Music, her fourth album. That record debuted at number 3 in Scotland, topped the UK Folk Albums Chart, and became her most praised work yet. Beyond her own releases, she has written songs for artists including Jessie Ware, Olivia Holt and the Shires, and has shared stages with Stevie Nicks, Lewis Capaldi and Justin Bieber among others.
