With her 2002 debut Come Away with Me, Norah Jones pulled off something genuinely rare: a jazz inflected record that sold over 27 million copies and became one of the best selling albums of the 21st century. Billboard later named her the top jazz artist of the entire 2000s decade, and her total record sales now sit north of 53 million worldwide. Her follow up albums Feels Like Home, Not Too Late and The Fall all went platinum, showing she could hold an audience without simply repeating herself. She also stepped in front of the camera for Wong Kar Wai's My Blueberry Nights in 2007, taking on a lead acting role alongside a heavyweight cast.
