About
Pale Puma centres on Amsterdam singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist Django Duijns, drawing from shoegaze and jangle pop to craft a sound that sits somewhere between indie rock and dream pop. The band released their debut album "Haunted By Dreams That Were Never My Own" on Excelsior Recordings in 2023 to considerable praise. Live, Pale Puma has grown into a four piece, with Walt van Der Aar on lead guitar, Yaresh Caldeira on bass and backing vocals, and Jesper van der Meer on drums. The fuller lineup has pushed the sound in a rawer, more urgent direction, with recent singles like "TBV" and "False Alarm" showing a clear post punk edge.
