Four Grammy wins, two acclaimed solo albums, and membership in not one but two supergroups, Phoebe Bridgers keeps a busy creative life. Her indie folk sound leans on acoustic guitar and electronic production, wrapped around lyrics that tend toward the melancholic, and it earned her widespread praise from her 2017 debut Stranger in the Alps onward. That record came together with producers Tony Berg and Ethan Gruska, and Bridgers has kept working with them since. Her 2020 follow up Punisher pushed her profile even higher, scoring a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album. Bridgers is part of boygenius alongside Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, a collaboration Pitchfork called "magic", and the group released their debut full length The Record in 2023. She also formed Better Oblivion Community Center with Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes, releasing a self titled album with him in 2019. On top of all that, she has shown up on tracks with Taylor Swift, the 1975, SZA, Kid Cudi, and the National, earning a well deserved reputation as one of indie music's most enthusiastic collaborators.
