Piers Faccini moves between folk, pop, and rock with a restless curiosity that has kept him productive across six studio albums and a string of notable collaborations. His 2006 album Tearing Sky, produced by JP Plunier, featured Ben Harper, who he then toured with for two years, and his collaboration with cellist Vincent Segal on Songs of Time Lost landed in NPR's top ten world music albums of 2014. His 2009 album Two Grains Of Sand was voted album of the year by listeners of French national radio France Inter. Beyond his own records, he has produced albums for Dom La Nena, Jenny Lysander and Yelli Yelli, and has found time to write poetry and illustrate children's books. His seventh studio album Shapes Of The Fall arrived in April 2021, featuring a track with Ben Harper and Abdelkebir Merchane, and in early 2025 he put out Our Calling, a collaboration with Malian musician Ballaké Sissoko.
