Few artists have worked a crowd like Pitbull, the Miami rapper born Armando Christian Pérez who turned a regional crunk and reggaeton hustle into a genuinely global pop phenomenon. His early albums, starting with the Lil Jon produced M.I.A.M.I. in 2004, established his Latin hip hop credentials, but it was the 2009 album Pitbull Starring in Rebelution that broke him wide open, with 'I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)' peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100.
