Pixel Grip is a Chicago electronic trio built around vocalist Rita Lukea and producers Tyler Ommen and Jonathon Freund, and their sound pulls heavily from the queer club and disco scenes that have shaped underground electronic music over the past few decades. That influence runs through everything they do, landing somewhere between dark wave, EBM, and synth pop with enough edge to keep things interesting. Their catalogue includes the studio albums Heavy Handed, Arena, and the 2025 release Percepticide: The Death of Reality. They have also caught the attention of artists like Nine Inch Nails and HEALTH, landing remix and collaboration credits alongside both acts. Recent lyric videos for tracks including Jealousy Is Lethal, Split, and Bet You Do suggest the Percepticide era is keeping them busy.
