About
Norwegian producer Kjetil Dale Sagstad has been releasing drum and bass and electronic music under the name Polar, or simply K, since the mid 1990s. His early work brought him into contact with legendary labels like Moving Shadow and R&S Records, and he went on to put out music on Beatservice, Breakbeat Science, and Thermal Recordings, among others. He also co founded his own imprint, Subtitles Music, together with fellow producer Teebee. Over the years Polar has built up a steady discography of solo albums, starting with '37 Degrees and Falling' and moving through 'Still Moving' and 'Out of the Blue'. His fourth solo LP 'In the End' came out in 2008, showing he was still very much in the game more than a decade after his first releases. Teebee and K also joined forces for a collaboration album focused on the deeper, more atmospheric side of drum and bass.
