About
Prins S. en De Geit is a trio from The Hague led by frontman Scott Beekhuizen, who performs under the alias Prins S. Their sound sits somewhere between danceable rap and electropop, built around poetic, absurdist lyrics in Dutch. They got their start in a block of flats in Den Haag and worked their way up through Noorderslag to major festival stages including Lowlands, Pinkpop and Sziget. Along the way they picked up the Zilveren Krekel award for their theatrical concert Theater Partijtje. Live, the band aims for something more than a standard gig. Scott describes it as a collective escape from the daily grind, a moment where the whole room gets lifted together. Songs like Kinderboerderij (Keiblij), Nacht and Wat Jij Wil have turned them into crowd favourites, and they have also performed in a special symphonic setting alongside the Residentie Orkest.
