About
Rosa Westerbaan makes dreamy indie folk pop with a sharp edge to it, wrapping unconventional, thoughtful lyrics in a fairytale atmosphere. Her songs circle around our connection with nature, celebrating life, and sometimes grief in its rawest form. She performs with a full band, and the music moves between intimate, quietly personal moments and big, sweeping builds, with sound bowls and spoken word woven into the mix. She writes and sings in both Dutch and English. Her debut EP in Dutch explores the tension between chaos and stillness. Artists like Aurora, Eefje De Visser, Lizzy McAlpine and Yebba give you a sense of the sonic world she moves in.
