Ruben Hillen is a Dutch singer songwriter who made his name by winning the thirteenth season of The Voice of Holland in May 2026. His run on the show was a memorable one: he opened with a blind audition covering Take That's 'Patience', with only the duo Suzan and Freek turning for him. From there he steadily built momentum, moving through the battle rounds, the knockouts and the semis before taking the top spot through a public vote. His victory came with a record deal at Cloud 9 Music and the release of his debut single '20 Seconds'. Shortly after, Suzan and Freek announced he would open for them at their Gelredome concerts in Arnhem, a solid first step for a relatively fresh face in Dutch music.
