About
Shawn Jones has been at this for over 30 years, and it shows in every note. The Southern California blues, roots and americana artist has built a reputation on a voice that sounds genuinely lived in and guitar playing that backs it up completely. Six studio albums and three live records make up his catalogue, and he plays upwards of 200 shows a year across the US, Europe and the UK. His album In My Blood was made with The New Memphis Horns and produced by Grammy winning producer and engineer Niko Bolas. The list of artists he has shared a stage with tells its own story: B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Bonnie Raitt, Robert Cray, Willie Nelson, Leon Russell, Derek Trucks, Robben Ford and Joe Bonamassa are among them. He moves just as naturally in an intimate acoustic setting as he does fronting a full band, mixing blues, soul, rock and roots in whatever combination the moment calls for.
