About
Sister Hazel are best known for "All for You", their 1997 jangle pop earworm that cracked the top 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and still defines them for a lot of listeners. The Gainesville, Florida band blends folk rock, classic rock, and Southern rock into something that feels both radio friendly and genuinely lived in, and they have been remarkably prolific over the years, putting out studio albums, live records, and acoustic sets without much pause. Their 2016 album Lighter in the Dark was a full pivot into country territory, even featuring Darius Rucker on a track. More recently they released the "Elements" series, four EPs called Water, Wind, Fire, and Earth that were later compiled into a 25 song double disc set, showing a band still restless enough to plan a project that ambitious.
