About
The Cosmic Carnival is a Dutch band that does one thing and does it with real devotion: they play the music of Fleetwood Mac. Their centrepiece is the Rumours album, the one that went straight to number one on the Billboard chart in 1977 and stayed there for 31 weeks. Songs like Dreams, Go Your Own Way and Don't Stop make up the core of what they play. Their show also tells the story behind the record, from Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joining the band to the emotionally charged sessions that produced it. The seven piece lineup shares the vocals widely, with several members singing alongside guitar, keys, bass and drums. They've been a regular fixture in theatres and clubs for years, and they reached the final of season five of the SBS6 series The Tribute: Battle of the Bands.
