The Doors Rising is a tribute act dedicated to the 1960s American psychedelic rock band The Doors. Founded in 2017, the group has gone through three lineups, with the current one drawing sold out crowds across the UK and internationally. What sets them apart from the crowded tribute circuit is their commitment to the full concert experience: sets regularly run over two hours and pull from the classic catalogue as well as deeper album cuts and bootleg material. The poetry of Jim Morrison is woven into the performance, alongside a theatrical stage presence that aims to recreate the atmosphere of an actual 1960s Doors show.
