About
Inspired by the legendary Dubliners, The Dutch Dubliners bring traditional Irish and Celtic music to the stage with a setup packed with instruments like the fiddle, tin whistle and bodhrán. Several members have backgrounds in acts including Pater Moeskroen and Best of Ireland, which gives the group a deep roots credibility. Their sets draw on the songs that defined the genre, weaving together driving jigs and reels with slower, heartfelt ballads. Classics like Whiskey in the Jar, The Wild Rover, Seven Drunken Nights and Dirty Old Town are regular fixtures in their shows, delivering the kind of communal, pub atmosphere that makes Irish folk so hard to resist. The whole vibe is deliberately old school, think warm wooden interiors and candlelit tables rather than flashy production, letting the music and the storytelling do all the work.
