Zonnehuis is a monumental concert and theatre venue located on Zonneplein in Amsterdam-Noord, housed in a beautifully preserved 1932 Amsterdam School building with an authentic Art Deco interior. Originally a community centre for workers of the NSDM Wharf, it was restored and reopened to the public in November 2014. The venue hosts a diverse programme including concerts, theatre, musicals, and family shows.
About The Delines
Willy Vlautin, the novelist and songwriter behind Richmond Fontaine, built The Delines around one central idea: Amy Boone's voice. World weary, vulnerable, and utterly lived in, her vocals give Vlautin's working class character studies an emotional weight that's hard to shake.
