NME once called The Living Tombstone 'the internet's biggest gaming band', and honestly, the label fits. What started in 2011 as a solo YouTube project by Israeli American producer Yoav Landau has grown into a Warner signed electronic rock duo after American vocalist Sam Haft joined in 2016. Their Five Nights at Freddy's song trilogy racked up hundreds of millions of views and, according to Rolling Stone, basically launched a whole subgenre of FNAF themed music. Their 2013 remix of 'Spooky, Scary Skeletons' became a Halloween internet staple with over 90 million YouTube views, while the Overwatch track 'No Mercy' spun off its own wave of TikTok lip sync videos. The pair's sound pulls from electronic rock, alternative rock and pop, with Landau citing dubstep, drum and bass and even Middle Eastern folk as influences. Their music has drawn comparisons to Gorillaz and Daft Punk, and they have also composed music for video games including Beat Saber and In Sound Mind.
