The Shannons bring a Dutch Irish folk sound rooted in an unlikely corner of the Netherlands: the small village of Laag Zuthem. The band was formed by Irishman Noel Shannon and his Dutch wife Lynn Shannon Harleman, a pairing that gives their music a natural blend of both traditions. Beyond performing, the duo are the organizers of the Deventer Irish Pubfestival, putting them at the heart of Irish music culture in the Netherlands.
