Those Damn Crows got their name from a genuinely mundane moment: drummer Ronnie Huxford's dad shouting at birds in his garden. That offhand outburst turned into the identity of one of Wales's most exciting hard rock acts, formed in Bridgend in 2014. The five piece caught attention early, landing Planet Rock's 'Ones to Watch' nod in 2017 and a Metal Hammer 'New Band of the Week' slot in 2018, the same year they signed to Earache Records and dropped their debut Murder and the Motive. They have been building momentum ever since. Point of No Return cracked the UK Albums Chart at number 14, and God Shaped Hole went all the way to number one, a first chart topper for Earache Records. Their 2023 record Inhale/Exhale reached number 3 in the UK. A 2025 video for 'The Night Train' shows the band still very much in motion.
