About
TJE is a Belgian act that does a lot with very little. The setup is minimal, but the sound is anything but thin: they push their instruments to the edges, hunting for dissonance and friction, and set that against melody. The result sits somewhere between electronics, melancholic avant pop and experimental post rock, with mood and emotion leading the way. Live, it's meant to feel raw yet layered, intense and fragile at the same time, a hypnotic kind of trip rather than just a set of songs. They've played Best Kept Secret, Lokerse Feesten, Reeperbahn and Left of the Dial.
