About
After splitting up in 2018, Dutch folk rock group Mister and Mississippi have found their way back to each other and to the stage. The break was never meant to be permanent; the members needed space to grow individually as musicians and as people, and the music kept pulling them back together. What they missed most were the intimate shows, the kind where every note and every silence lands. Their sound sits in the neighbourhood of Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes: dreamy indie folk built around crystal clear guitars, warm vocal harmonies and slow burning tension. The band features Maxime Barlag on vocals and percussion, Tom Broshuis on guitar and keys, Danny van Tiggele on guitar and vocals, and Samgar Lemuël Jacobs on vocals and drums. Their sets draw from beloved older material alongside newer work.
