About
WHAMANIA! is a tribute show dedicated to the music of WHAM!, built around a twelve piece live band that recreates the full spectacle of the duo's classic catalogue. At the centre of the show is Jordan Roy, who has appeared on The Voice of Holland and X Factor and also fronted a solo theatre tour called Freedom. He takes on the role of George Michael, delivering the vocals with a conviction that does justice to the originals. Alongside him, the lineup includes performers representing Andrew Ridgeley and backing singers Pepsi and Shirlie. The set pulls from across the WHAM! songbook, covering Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Club Tropicana, Freedom, I'm Your Man, The Edge of Heaven and Last Christmas. The show leans into the energy and warmth that made WHAM! so beloved, with the whole thing wrapping up in an afterparty built around late eighties and early nineties dance floor classics.
