Worakls, the stage name of Kevin Da Silva Rodrigues, has carved out a genuinely distinctive corner of the French electronic scene by weaving orchestral strings and classical textures into deep, melodic techno and progressive house. Billboard once called him a "rising French DJ" whose tracks carry "serious techno with a light touch," full of focused nervous energy, and that description still holds up. He co founded the label Hungry Music in 2014 alongside fellow producers N'to and Joachim Pastor, which became a key hub for that organic, emotionally charged strand of French electronic music. His 2021 track "Storm" featuring violinist Rusanda Panfili is a good example of how he works: electronic architecture with live instrumentation on top, the kind of thing that sounds as good on a festival stage as it does through headphones. He performs live in multiple formats, from solo sets to a full 20 piece touring orchestra. His latest album, From One Blink to Another, came out in October 2025 on Polydor, featuring a collaboration with Carl Cox.
