About
Yellofox is a six piece indie folk band from The Hague whose sound sits somewhere between richly arranged seventies americana and crisp modern production. At the heart of everything are the harmonies of Marc Mosmans and Jorieke de Vet, woven together with cello, violin, double bass, piano, mandolin, drums, and guitars. The result is warm, layered, and a little melancholic in the best possible way. Their second album For The Dreamers took them all the way to the United States for live dates, and the band followed that up with their third record The Secret Of Being Kind. Early singles Slow The Sun and Taste For More gave a first taste of where the new material was heading, with Taste For More in particular landing as an immediately catchy listen. Infectious melodies, rich vocal arrangements, and that bittersweet quality running through it all.
