Zuco 103 has spent over 25 years blurring genre boundaries with what they call their Brazilectro sound, weaving Brazilian samba, bossa nova and jazz together with electronic experimentation and funky grooves. The Amsterdam trio was founded in 1999 by Dutch drummer Stefan Kruger, German keyboardist Stefan Schmid and Brazilian vocalist Lilian Vieira, whose stage presence is a force of its own. Over the course of nine studio albums, starting with their debut Outro Lado, they have built a rich catalogue that earned them an Edison Award in the Jazz Global category for their album Telenova. Collaborations with Joe Jackson and legendary reggae and dub producer Lee Scratch Perry have added further texture to their sound. Their live show has taken them to Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival, Fuji Rock, Pinkpop, Rock Werchter and multiple editions of the North Sea Jazz Festival.
