Doornroosje in Nijmegen was founded in 1970 as a creative activities center in a squatted school building, initially serving as a gathering place for hippies. The venue became known as one of the first places in the Netherlands where cannabis was openly available. It programmed many bands, often before they achieved wider recognition.
About And Also the Trees
And Also the Trees have been quietly doing their own thing since 1979, when they formed in Inkberrow, Worcestershire, and their sound has never really fit neatly into any one box.
