About Anja Lechner
Anja Lechner is a German cellist who likes to trace where Bach's music came from and how it echoed through later composers. Born in Kassel, she builds solo programmes that move without a break from the viola da gamba repertoire of Tobias Hume, through Bach, to the music of Carl Friedrich Abel.
