About ANVIL
Few bands have a story quite like Anvil's. The Toronto heavy metal veterans spent the 1980s laying groundwork that bands like Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax would later build careers on, yet by the 1990s they had slipped into near total obscurity, playing gigs to empty rooms while refusing to quit.
