Doornroosje in Nijmegen was founded in 1970 as a creative activities center in a squatted school building, initially serving as a gathering place for hippies. The venue became known as one of the first places in the Netherlands where cannabis was openly available. It programmed many bands, often before they achieved wider recognition.
About Blanks
Blanks, the project of Dutch musician Simon de Wit, built his name on YouTube before most people knew who he was. His 1980s style remake of Post Malone's Better Now racked up millions of views and put him on the map internationally, and Armin van Buuren personally asked him to do a Beatles version of Blah Blah Blah.
