Paard is a cultural and social venue in The Hague that opened on October 21, 1972, originally named Paard van Troje. Established as a youth center by activists with support from local government and the youth project Ruimte, it was housed in a former girls' boarding school on Prinsegracht. The venue served as a meeting place for The Hague's young people, offering support and advice alongside cultural programming and community engagement through visitor councils.
About Chef'Special
Chef'Special built their reputation the hard way, starting as house band on the hugely popular Dutch TV show De Wereld Draait Door in 2011 and grinding their way up from there.
