Paard is a cultural and social venue in The Hague that opened on October 21, 1972, originally named Paard van Troje. Established as a youth center by activists with support from local government and the youth project Ruimte, it was housed in a former girls' boarding school on Prinsegracht. The venue served as a meeting place for The Hague's young people, offering support and advice alongside cultural programming and community engagement through visitor councils.
About Hällas
Hällas from Jönköping, Sweden coined their own genre name for a reason. They call it "adventure rock", and the tag fits: their music blends 1970s progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal in a way that owes a clear debt to bands like Genesis, Uriah Heep, Camel and Rush.
