About
Hällas from Jönköping, Sweden coined their own genre name for a reason. They call it "adventure rock", and the tag fits: their music blends 1970s progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal in a way that owes a clear debt to bands like Genesis, Uriah Heep, Camel and Rush. The band is even named after a knight who wanders a parallel medieval universe full of seers, tyrants and apocalyptic dread, and that lore threads through their entire discography. Signed to Napalm Records, their second album Conundrum charted in both Sweden and Germany and earned them a P3 Guld nomination in the rock and metal category. Their fourth studio album Panorama landed in early 2026 to strong reviews, with Prog Magazine calling it a "mesmerising modern masterpiece" and suggesting the band would have been superstars had it come out in the early 1970s. High praise, and not entirely undeserved.
