Theater t MozaiekOosterweg 179

Theater 't Mozaïek is the cultural centre of Wijchen, a town in Gelderland, and it describes itself as the town's cultural living room. The building was put up in 2000 and 2001 as a Sociaal, Educatief en Cultureel Centrum, with Oosterweg 179 given as its original address. Today it is listed at Campuslaan 6. That origin shows in how the place works: it was conceived as a shared community building, not as a concert hall, and it opens its doors to all layers of society rather than to one niche audience. Inside, the theater has a café where visitors can sit before or after a show, which fits the living room idea the venue uses for itself. Beyond theater, the programme includes concerts and other events, so the room serves as a regional stop for touring artists as well as local audiences. The listings show a varied range of music. Singer songwriter Roel C. Verburg played there in October 2025, and violinist Micha Molthoff brought her programme "A Violin Affair" in November 2025, a show that sits closer to classical and crossover territory. Niels Geusebroek, known from the Dutch pop and singer songwriter scene, is booked for March 2027. Together these bookings suggest a venue that mixes pop, songwriting and instrumental music rather than specialising in a single genre. For visitors from Nijmegen and the surrounding Rivierenland area, it offers a mid sized, community rooted alternative to the larger city stages.
About Hippe Gasten
Hippe Gasten make rock music aimed squarely at kids, but not the watered down, finger wagging kind. Think screaming guitars, driving drums, and lyrics that deal with things children actually care about. The Dutch group positions itself as a first real concert experience, something parents and kids can genuinely share.
