De Duif is a neoclassical church building on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam, designed by architect Theo Molkenboer in 1858 and originally serving as a Catholic hidden church. After years of decline, it was extensively restored in the 1980s and converted into a cultural venue. Today it hosts concerts, lectures, weddings and other events, with Paradiso regularly organizing concerts there. The space is valued for its distinctive acoustics and intimate atmosphere.
About Lavinia Meijer
Lavinia Meijer has a rare gift for pulling classical harp into unexpected territory. Her 2012 album of Philip Glass pieces, which she transcribed for harp herself with Glass's blessing, shot straight to the top of the Dutch rock charts, a striking result for an instrument not usually associated with that world.
