Doornroosje in Nijmegen was founded in 1970 as a creative activities center in a squatted school building, initially serving as a gathering place for hippies. The venue became known as one of the first places in the Netherlands where cannabis was openly available. It programmed many bands, often before they achieved wider recognition.
About Library Card
Library Card are a Rotterdam quartet whose sound refuses to sit still. Formed in the summer of 2021, they move restlessly between angular post punk, post rock and garage rock, balancing rawness with melody and introversion with explosive energy.
