Paard is a cultural and social venue in The Hague that opened on October 21, 1972, originally named Paard van Troje. Established as a youth center by activists with support from local government and the youth project Ruimte, it was housed in a former girls' boarding school on Prinsegracht. The venue served as a meeting place for The Hague's young people, offering support and advice alongside cultural programming and community engagement through visitor councils.
About LITTLE BARRIE
Little Barrie have built their reputation on a sound that refuses to sit still, pulling from freakbeat, garage rock, surf, krautrock, funk and UK R&B all at once. The London trio, centred on Barrie Cadogan's guitar and vocals, Lewis Wharton on bass, and Tony Coote on drums, have been at it since the early 2000s.
