Theater de Beun is a cultural venue in Heiloo that opened in November 1981. The name "beun" refers to a platform or stage in the North Holland dialect. Located above the t Loo shopping center and owned by the municipality, the theater hosts podium performances and film screenings. The facility also contains halls available for social and cultural activities organized by and for local residents.

Micheline van Hautem is a Belgian singer from Ghent with a deep connection to the French chanson tradition. Her 2001 album Songs of Jacques Brel sold more than 20,000 copies and launched a career that has taken her to stages in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, New Zealand, Australia and the United States.
