Willem Twee is a multifaceted cultural complex in 's-Hertogenbosch, housed in a former Willem II cigar factory. It encompasses a pop venue (Poppodium), a classical and jazz hall (Toonzaal) located in a historic synagogue, music studios specialising in electroacoustic and modular synthesis, as well as exhibition spaces and rehearsal rooms. The organisation hosts over 100 concerts per year across its various stages and spaces.

Nienke Leone writes pop songs about the things she can't bring herself to say out loud. Her storytelling is catchy and bright on the surface, but the lyrics are brutally honest, and that mix of infectious energy and exposed vulnerability is what makes her shows land. She sits firmly in the nederpop camp.
