Doornroosje in Nijmegen was founded in 1970 as a creative activities center in a squatted school building, initially serving as a gathering place for hippies. The venue became known as one of the first places in the Netherlands where cannabis was openly available. It programmed many bands, often before they achieved wider recognition.
About Warbuhl
Warbuhl come out of Utrecht with a sound that refuses to sit still. Their music throws ska grooves, uptempo beats, Dutch rap and fragments of cryptic poetry into the same pot, and somehow it all adds up to something built for dancing.
