About
Hondenfokker is a three piece that lives somewhere between a rave and a demolition site. They work between Amsterdam and Groningen, and their sound is a messy but deliberate pile of sharp guitar riffs, chaotic beats and analog synth bass. It's built to work on a dance floor and in a mosh pit, which says a lot about the energy they're after. The vocals swing from catchy hooks to full on improvisation, so a song can go somewhere unexpected halfway through. They released Rough Enough on 26 June, and they like to throw their own parties around releases, curating the whole night themselves. If you want something that sits in the electroclash corner but refuses to behave, this is the one.
