Montreal's Tiga has spent decades making electronic music that refuses to sit still in one genre, sliding between electroclash, techno, house and electro with the ease of someone who genuinely doesn't care which scene claims him. His cover of "Sunglasses at Night" with Finnish producer Jori Hulkkonen became a genuine chart hit, reaching number two on the UK Dance Chart and sitting at number one on the MTV Dance Chart for over six weeks. His debut album Sexor won the 2007 Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year, and a track from it ended up in Need for Speed: Carbon. Beyond his own releases, Tiga built Turbo Recordings from scratch in Montreal, helping launch Chromeo and Boys Noize among others. He has remixed an impressive and eclectic range of acts including LCD Soundsystem, Depeche Mode, The Kills and Scissor Sisters, and collaborated in the studio with Soulwax, James Murphy and Chilly Gonzales. Together with Zombie Nation he records as ZZT, and a couple of his tracks landed on the Soulwax FM radio station in Grand Theft Auto V.
